Wilderness and Remote First Aid: 16 hour Course / 2 year certification. This course will introduce basic first aid in the wilderness/remote setting as prescribed by the American Red Cross, meeting the OSAH and Boy Scouts of America standard. This course is widely accepted as the Wilderness First Aid Course taught at many schools across the nation.
Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification. Topics include:

Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop: No Gear requirements. This is both an educational course on the 7 principles of Leave No Trace, and skills to accompany said principles. Taking care of the outdoors space is a responsibility of all who trek through it, whether fishing, hunting, camping, over-landing and so on. Learn how to help take care of our natural habitats so that future generations may enjoy all of the same of God's creation. Topics Include:

Basics of Friction Fire: The Basics of Friction Fire class is more like a workshop designed to teach fundamental techniques of starting a fire using friction, such as the bow drill. Participants learn about selecting the right materials, understanding the principles of friction, and mastering the mechanics of creating ember and transferring it to tinder. We will gather materials off the landscape. This is a hands-on practical application class. We'll make it fun and enjoyable, and after we get the fire going, have something to eat!

Collecting Proper Materials/Characteristics (to include tinder)
Creating the hearth-board (fire-board)
Creating the spindle
Creating the hand-hold
Creating the bow
Technique

STOP THE BLEED®: 1 to 1.5 hour Course / Certificate Course. No gear required I provide all training materials. I am authorized by the American College of Surgeons and STOP THE BLEED Coalition to train either version of the course, at the end of the day learning three basic lifesaving techniques is what matters. This is a great day class typically consisting of didactic and practical application training. Topics include:
